Getting Started
Once we are selected, our project team is assembled, and we begin our pre-design services. The design team consists of our project lead, principal design members, project valuation support, and potentially other staff scale and complexity of the project might dictate. This team will remain involved in the project from beginning to end, with our informed project management team assuming the lead at the permitting and construction start-up stages. The project lead will orchestrate the coordination among any design consultants who need brought on. Our project leader will successfully coordinate with all parties to bring the project from pre-design phase through project completion.
Producing the Design
During schematic design, the design team works with the client to gain full understanding of the program and desires for the project. Once the owner is confident with the basic program, the project moves into design development to be further detailed and refined. Among our collaborative capabilities, with our design and engineering consultants, are initial project design analysis, schematic design, design development, renderings, video walk-throughs, and final construction documents. After the construction documenting phase, we seek approval from the city for permit.

Marion – CSG’s ability to value-engineer throughout the entire design process insures, from the beginning, the project will remain within budget thus eliminating the need to search for cost savings in the end.
